A Brief History Of AFL Final Friday

It started with an experiment, then grew into something widely celebrated by everyone. It was given an official title in 1897. Originally, the final team would be considered the winner of the match. However, it was decided that the final four teams should be played against each other. It didn't start as a perfect system, so many changes were made. Attendance fluctuated until after the war, but it bounced back and continues to grow.
